The PRSA Foundation invites you to support scholarships, education and research in public relations. Contributions made payable to the PRSA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. The PRSA Foundation, as the supporting philanthropic arm of the Public Relations Society of America, expanded and strengthened its commitment to public relations research and education in 2005.  In fact, the Foundation offers more support to public relations practitioners, students and researchers than any other organization in the nation.

Betsy Plank Scholarship Endowment Fund

Since 1989, the Betsy Plank Scholarship has awarded more than $74,000 to undergraduate students at over 40 colleges nationwide.
In 2005, the PRSA Foundation embarked on a major fundraising drive in honor of Betsy Plank, APR, Fellow PRSA and the first female president of PRSA.

By establishing the Betsy Plank Scholarship Endowment, the PRSA Foundation seeks to ensure the future availability of scholarship funds for undergraduate students in public relations.

“The Betsy Plank Scholarship Endowment Fund will make it possible for more students to expand their knowledge of public relations and contribute to the vitality and integrity of the profession,”

Dan Edelman,
Campaign leader/founder of Daniel J. Edelman, Inc. (now Edelman Public Relations Worldwide).

FUND-RAISING GOAL: $100,000
