Award: $2000

Mandatory Criteria:
*Must attend at the undergraduate level or will attend at the graduate level, a college or university in the geographical area served by the Buffalo/Niagara Chapter of PRSA.
*Declared major in the field of communications with a preference for those pursuing a career in public relations.

Additional Considerations:
*High level of scholastic achievement;
*Active interest in community service;
*Students in sophomore or junior years, and graduate students;
*Preference given to members of PRSSA.
* Previous Randazzo scholarship winners are eligible to reapply as long as they continue to meet the criteria

To apply for this award, submit the following materials:
*Completed online application form.
*Letter of recommendation.
*Essay in English demonstrating high scholastic achievement, interest in community service and financial needs.

About May C. Randazzo:
The Randazzo Memorial Scholarship Fund was named for May Randazzo, who was the public relations manager at Graphic Controls in Buffalo, NY, before she died in 1997 after a brief illness. The scholarships provide funds for individuals planning a career in public relations and honors college students that best demonstrate the ideals that May so strongly believed were the keys to the future of the profession – leadership, community service and scholastic achievement.
