Established in 2024, the Bliss-Baker Fellowship will award one BIPOC identified student annually who is pursuing a career in journalism, public relations, marketing, or communications. This fellowship will annually award one student with a $5,000 scholarship and a paid eight-week internship with The Bliss Group in New York, NY.

About The Bliss Group:

The Bliss Group is a marketing communications agency that blends data science with the art of storytelling to connect to people with precision, empathy, and purpose. We tell stories across mediums in ways that inspire action and make an impact.

Scholarship Criteria:

Judges will be looking for applicants who meet the following criteria:

  • A registered full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university.
  • A rising junior or senior.
  • BIPOC identified.
  • Pursuing a major in journalism, public relations, marketing, or communications.
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Ability to work in person at The Bliss Group’s office in New York, NY three days per week.
  • Technologically equipped for the fellowship and have their own laptop.
  • Authorized to work in the United States, have a state-issued ID and second form of identification for hourly work.
  • Preference will be given to PRSSA members.
