Neumeier Family Leadership Award

The scholarship check will be payable to the winner’s university for use on his or her behalf, and can only be used to directly fund the winner’s educational pursuits.

Eligibility:
*Undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing.
*Enrolled in an accredited college or university.
*Current PRSSA member who has demonstrated an outstanding record of effective leadership in the Public Relations Student Society of America (at the chapter, regional or national level) and/or other campus or community organizations.

Application:
*A completed online application form.
*A recommendation letter of no more than two pages from a faculty member, PRSSA Adviser or community leader attesting to the application’s leadership qualities.
A one page résumé.

Judging Criteria:
*Demonstrated leadership with measurable results in PRSSA, the campus and/or community.
*Writing skills as demonstrated throughout the application.
*Faculty member, PRSSA adviser or community leader letter of recommendation.
*The recipient will be chosen by a committee from the Counselors Academy PRSA and announced at the PRSSA National Conference.

About the Neumeier Family:
The Neumeier Family Leadership Award was established in 2011 by Kelly and Mike Neumeier, APR. Mike is a PRSA member, Counselors Academy executive committee member and past president of the Georgia Chapter of PRSA. He is a founding principal of the Arketi Group, a high-tech business-to-business public relations and digital marketing firm in Atlanta. Mike is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in public relations. Kelly is a marketing executive with Medical Management Professionals, is a constant supporter of PRSA and is a graduate of the University of Dayton.
