Award: $1,500 scholarship + eight-week paid part-time internship with PressFriendly

Established in 2024, the PressFriendly Fellowship will award one BIPOC identified student annually who is pursuing a career in public relations or communications. This fellowship includes a $1,500 scholarship and a paid eight-week part-time remote internship with PressFriendly.

Scholarship Criteria:

Judges will be looking for applicants who meet the following criteria:

• A registered full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university.
• A rising junior or senior, or graduate student.
• BIPOC identified.
• Interested in pursuing a career in public relations or communications.
• Authorized to work in the United States, have a state-issued ID and second form of identification for hourly work.
• Technologically equipped for the fellowship and have their own laptop.

• A personal statement of up to 250 words.

This scholarship is funded by PressFriendly.

Internship Salary: $16/hour
