Aniesia Williams serves as Managing Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Client Engagement at W2O/Real Chemistry, an offering that’s focused on insights-based, purpose-driven, culturally relevant counsel geared towards developing programming and activations that are infused with DE&I. Key areas of focus include COVID-19 health inequities, racial and socioeconomic health disparities, as well as DE&I strategy and program development counsel.
As a respected marketer, journalist, and brand strategist, Aniesia brings more than 15 years of experience across multiple sectors, including entertainment, CPG, healthcare, CSR, and technology. Aniesia’s expertise ranges from executing innovative social marketing campaigns, developing award-winning earned centric strategies for global brands, and advancing brand strategy and earned media opportunities to bring awareness to clinical trials in the African American community and research barriers.
Prior to W2O, Aniesia served as Chief Client & Communications Officer at Solve Innovation Group and SVP, Brand at Edelman. She was the senior lead and
brand strategist driving digital, influencer, and storytelling for Fortune 500 brands. In addition, Aniesia is an established speaker, brand influencer, and Network Journal’s 40 Under 40 class of 2016.
Aniesia’s true passion lies in her philanthropic work, ensuring diverse communities have equitable distribution in all aspects of their lives.
Her ability to translate value proposition, set success goals for future partnerships at the enterprise level, and ensure action and mutual accountability throughout the engagement is what makes her invaluable to non-profit organizations such as Black Girls Code, The Clinton Foundation, and Code2040.
She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master of Arts degree in management and holds an honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Walden University.
