Antonio Hernández Crane serves as the Global Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for Amazon’s Global Engineering Services organization, a business unit made up of thousands of employees working in North America, EMEA, and emerging countries. Prior to this, he led Hispanic-consumer market public relations and global crisis communications for McDonald’s Worldwide Restaurant Operations division. Hernández Crane also served as the HR and diversity communications lead for Abbott’s Employee and Labor Relations division and with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.

Hernández Crane is Past-President of the Hispanic Public Relations Association and a former trustee with the Illinois Safe Schools Alliance. He is a certified affirmative action professional (CAAP) and is certified in EEO and Affirmative Law and Complaint Processing, Counseling, and Resolution Training through the American Association for Access, Equity and Diversity. He also holds a certificate of DEI from Cornell University and is a trustee with the Washington, D.C.-based Fund for Leadership, Equity, Access, and Diversity (LEAD Fund), a think tank established to provide thought leadership and action to promote inclusive organizations and institutions through research and education on issues related to diversity, social responsibility, and human and civil rights.
