Bonnie Upright, APR, has more than 20 years experience in nonprofit management and strategic communications planning and execution. In her role as senior vice president at Olympus Foundation Management, Upright oversees the day-to-day operations of staff and programs for a number of professional athletes and high profile individuals through their family foundations and charitable funds.

Throughout her career, Upright has served multiple nonprofit organizations as well as providing strategic marketing, public relations and social media counsel to businesses in the North Florida community.

Upright’s experience includes producing Jacksonville’s largest public art displays, resulting in more than $600,000 for local charities, serving as vice president of the state’s only live sports awards show and representing some of North Florida’s most prestigious restaurants and an award-winning ocean front boutique hotel. She is also a sought after speaker, presenting corporate and association workshops on social media, public relations strategies and tactics, as well as speaking to public relations students and university representatives.

Prior to her career in public relations and nonprofit management, Upright worked as a sportswriter at the Florida Times-Union, and was a corporate and broadcast video producer for White Hawk Pictures.

Upright is active in numerous professional associations and leadership organizations. She is a National Board member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville 2005, and a member of the Jacksonville Women’s Network. She was named one of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s “40 under 40” and also honored by Community Connections at its 2003 Celebration of Leadership.
