With more than 25 years of experience in communications, Jeff Wilson, APR, leads the Agency Marketing and Promotion (AMP) Team at Padilla, one of the country’s leading mid-size public relations, branding and digital agencies with offices in Minneapolis, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Richmond, Virginia. He also chairs Padilla’s Diversity and Inclusion Council, focusing on recruitment, retention, training and agency content (internal and external). Throughout his career, he’s earned some of the communications industry’s highest honors, including a PRSA Silver Anvil, PRSA Bronze Anvil and a PRWeek Award.

 

He has been involved in PRSA for more than 15 years in a variety of capacities, including serving as president of PRSA Richmond; president of the Richmond Public Relations Foundation, the charitable arm of PRSA Richmond; and as an Assembly delegate. Committed to mentoring and education, he has served as an adjunct communications professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Union University and the University of South Carolina.

 

Wilson also has held several leadership positions within the community and is currently a board member for the Visual Arts Center of Richmond, a community arts center that’s been helping adults and children explore their creativity and make great since 1963, and previously served as co-chair of the Virginia Communications Hall of Fame Advisory Committee and chair for the Virginia Mentoring Partnership (now MENTOR Virginia). Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of South Carolina.
