Sharon Fenster, https://sharonfensterconsulting.com/ a former President of the NYC Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, put out a challenge to the PR industry in 2018, advocating for greater diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the PR world. This included a controversial stance at the time--calling for the release of diversity data. As a public relations expert, she has managed the reputations of industry leaders such as Motorola, Microsoft, Samsung, Sharp Electronics, MSNBC, GE, Honeywell and more. Today, she is considered an expert in DEI—certified in diversity and inclusion by Cornell University--and has served as a guest lecturer on the subject at The Johns Hopkings University. Her articles on DEI have appeared in PR industry publications like PR Week and PR News.  Currently, she offers an amazing support and training vehicle to help men during their allyship journey. She also provides training for communicators in active listening.
