Jorge D’Garay is president and CEO of MXUS Public Relations, a bi-national firm with clients in the United States and Mexico. He founded MXUS Public Relations – based in Tijuana and San Diego – in 1992 following a 15-year career in the banking sector.

A longtime communications professional, D’Garay has expertise in crisis, government and corporate communications, as well as community and media relations. Throughout his career, D’Garay has traveled the world for work, consulting a wide spectrum of clients spanning various industries. D’Garay is a skilled client representative and negotiator, often serving as the primary strategist interfacing with governing bodies on behalf of his clients. His unique approach of forming complex coalitions to support campaigns has been frequently recognized in Mexico.

D’Garay’s success in the field is a result of his passion for lifelong learning and as a public relations professional, he takes pride in “building bridges” and strengthening the common good in the regions he has had the privilege of working in.

His studies in business administration and marketing have allowed him to be an innovator in the public relations industry and have helped him position his clients nationally and internationally.

D’Garay is active in the community, volunteering for several local organizations and causes in the Tijuana-San Diego region. He is a member of the PRSA San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter; board member of the Tijuana Cultural Center Foundation; national vice president of the board of directors for the Mexican Association of Public Relations Professionals PRORP MEXICO; vice president of the Baja California Chapter of PRORP; and director for Mexico of the Ibero-American Public Relations Network based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
